Integrated School Health Tip #1
The Pledge of Allegiance: an interesting ritual to be sure. But once you are standing there, you are almost in tadasana! Tadasana or mountain pose is a popular yoga asana. To get all the way there, shift your right hand to the right a little and bring your left hand to meet your right. Now draw your shoulders down and away from your ears. Stack your head on top of your spine like a bull elk with large antlers. Stand proud, strong and alert! Unbuckle your knees, activate your leg muscles and them simply close your eyes and breathe. See! Yoga's not that hard!
